§6§l§n§oSituation
You are in the experimental residential facility constructed by the Coalition of Endangered Empires (CEE) known as the "Domes". The location of the Domes is unique in that it does not exist in our native dimension, but rather an alternate dimension with a seemingly infinite habitable atmosphere, but there is no solid ground and the sun outputs massive UV radiation. It is it advised to stay within the Domes, not because of the sun as it is not immediately dangerous, but because of the strange natural phenomena that occurs a few hundred meters below the point the Domes were constructed.

The dimension the Domes are in was discovered near the end of the Contradiction Conflict by the early iteration of the CEE's aerospace engineering and research team and construction of the Domes was quickly put into plan and carried out. The Domes were constructed as a solution to housing the trillions of refugees left homeless when their planets were deemed as uninhabitable after the series of events during the Contradiction Conflict. As a trained compulsory agent of the Vindica Mortem Project you are being sent in to liberate and reclaim the Domes from a parasitic threat discovered 2 years ago that quickly decimated all CEE control and communications within the Domes.

The parasite you are being sent to purge can use any recently living flesh as a suitable host, that includes the residents of the Domes and any animals brought there. The parasite can rapidly evolve their hosts by merging with other hosts to form a new physiology along with enhanced combatative capabilities. This fusion is performed by the parasties after they have killed and merged with other flesh bearing creatures, although they do not try to harm other hosts or parasites. However regardless of the host and these evolutions, the parasites and their hosts all have an aversion to sunlight and prefer dark places during the day and are much more active during the night. Because of this, it is advised to take shelter during the night in a nearby building or defensive point you have secured. The reasoning behind this behavior is unkown as they have no physical detriment to being in contact with sunlight or UV.

Also, despite destroying the infected plague being your primary objective, not all agents sent in by the Vindica Mortem Project were compliant with mission orders and have either gone rouge or allied themselves with small groups of violent survivors. As has been confirmed by drone monitoring excursions performed by the CEE, you are advised to exercise extreme caution with any humans you see in the Domes, especially armed ones as they will more than likely be hostile. You are authorized to use lethal force with these encounters.

§6§l§n§oMission Terms & Success
Unfortunately extraction is not possible as the CEE has instructed that no participant of the Vindica Mortem Project can be allowed to return to our native dimension so as not to risk bringing the parasite there. Your chances of survival depend on your capability to eliminate the parasites, and your mission success relies on your survival. There is an estimated 13 trillion residents on the Domes and presumably they have all fallen to the parasites, as such the CEE has approved the Vindica Mortem Project to enlist select death row inmates and volunteers such as yourself to be on the front lines of the long term libertion project. You have had brief training in the past with our crafting and survival simulations and should exercise those skills learned to supply yourself and secure defensive positions to prolong your life as long as possible.

§6§l§n§oMission Support
As previously stated, you are here to eliminate the infected and as such will recieve support as we are able to link to more areas outside of infection zones you and other agents of the Vindica Mortem Project have confirmed infected presence within. Our observation excursions have confirmed that infected hosts and parasites will relentlessly follow you wherever you go and can sense your presence for miles, so keep moving and killing infected and we will be sure to prepare munitions, rations, and equipment in compatible and untampered storage we can link to along your path. The more you can eliminate, the better quality supplies we can send to all the agents of the Vindica Mortem Project.

The infected can take any recently living flesh as a host so your chances of being turned into a host for the parasite is 0% so long as you stay alive. However, your death contributes to the infected presence within the Domes and as such will lower our capabilites of delivering aid to suitable storage containers for the agents of the Vindica Mortem Project. This can only contribute so much to infected control, therefore, once you have reached a point that we can send you better supplies, we can continue to supply agents with the same level of quality we have been supplying so far regardless of how many agents die after that point. However, this will make it more difficult to clear enough infected to allow us to deliver even better quality supplies.

We are deploying you all with a standard drop kit given to all agents of the Vindica Mortem Project:

§f-A standard issue Revolver along with sufficient ammunition. §8§o(Be sure to equip your ammunition in quick ammo slots by clicking on the bullet icon at the top of your inventory to enter the TechGuns inventory window. §7[Shift+Click] §8§oto quickly move ammo to an open ammo slot.)

§f-Durable standard Combat Knife for close quarters combat and utility.

§f-An advanced Mining Lantern that requires no fuel or energy to provide you with mobile light. §8§o(§7[V] §8§oto activate. only needs to be in your inventory.)

§f-Canned rations and a can opener. §8§o(Cans require opening via the can opener. In your inventory, place a can opener in the crafting grid along with the can or cans of food you would like opened. The crafting result will be an opened, consumable can of food. Any consumable food can be placed in the quick food slots in the TechGuns inventory window to auto-eat when needed.)

§f-A few lock picks for when encountering a locked supply cache. §8§o(Some lootable chests are locked and need to be picked before they can be opened. With a lockpick in hand, use §7[Right Click] §8§oon a locked chest top bring up the lockpicking menu. Use §7[A] §8§oand §7[D] §8§oto move the lockpick and §7[W] §8§oto attempt to push up a tumbler. Once all tumblers are up, press §7[ESC] §8§oto exit the menu and unlock the chest which allows you to now open the chest.)

§f-A Vindica Mortem Project Monitor, or VMP Monitor for short, which is used to check on next-tier supply eligibility progress. §8§o(When the VMP Monitor is in your main hand, use §7[Right Click] §8§oto bring up a message above your tool bar that will tell you the world's progress toward the next tier of lootable weapons, armor, food, and medical supplies.)

§c§oIn order to find better loot overall, you need to kill infected. However any time a player is killed, progress will drop. Not so far as to lose ranks, but rather make it harder to reach the next rank. Any infected death will count toward progress to the next tier since this is a world mechanic, so all progress is cumulative amongst all players and even entities.
